impact on the planet. To keep global warming under the threshold of 1,5° C we should consume a maximum of 1 kg of textile per person per year when today the average is 10 kg. The story of ‘1kg of Textile’ shows a future where this is a reality. In a book and on Instagram (@1kgoftextile), I collect examples of how people can reduce their consumption today and how this could evolve in the future. By adapting the type of information to the climate crisis we are facing nowadays : explaining how to survive the lack of food, water and basic needs, and integrating them into a small collection of
